Diversity deserved all the accolades they got last night as they really are an innovative and different dance group that actually offers something new. From start to finish they grabbed your attention and refused to let you get away. Every move took you to a new level of anticipation leaving you wanting more. Really good entertainment is something that makes you not wanting it to end, and this didn't disappoint.
But to be fair, there should have been 3 categories. One for Dance, One for singers and one for anything else.
Mention must be made for Susan Boyle who gave a flawless rendition but I have to say that Hollie Steel was unbelievable for a girl of 10. Both were captivating and enchanting and took you to a place of peace and tranquility and innocence of days long past and missed, in modern lifestyles. Both undoubtedly will go on to become big names in their field.
Amanda Holden didn't disappoint as one of the judges for putting her foot in it. First for being insensitive by saying that Diversity blew Flawless out of the water. A terrible thing to say that encouraged the public to ignore voting for the latter. But the worst thing was the abundance of make up, enough to please a dozen hippos! And that lipstick!! Couldn't help thinking of one particular type of Monkey that has those colours surrounding its bottom to attract male members. But in the end I concluded that she did in fact remind me of Orville the Duck. A good case of 'Less is more' as normally she is very attractive.
Piers Morgan excelled himself as levelling the field by purposely disagreeing with Miss Holden on her comments about Flawless for the sake of fairness and won a few more fans by doing so. Simon Cowell was as usual, no ones fool, and no one can disagree with things he did say.
Just a thought though..........as Miss Boyle was 10/11 favourite to win this contest, if she had won she would have cost the bookies billions. Would have been worth giving Mr Cowell £20 million to make sure it didn't happen, wouldn't it ? Naw......it couldn't happen!
Could it ? Of course not!

On a more serious note children on this show, especially this year did show signs of the pressure and for this
I think reflection should be made to make changes
regarding guide lines for child entries.
